What is Acne Free?

Acne Free is a 3-step acne system that battles acne by exfoliating the skin and killing off the bacteria trapped in the clogged pores. It comes with a face wash, exfoliant, and a benzoyl peroxide product. The Acne Free brand is decent.

Acne Free Overview

Acne Free has similar results to Proactiv. Acne Free does try to claim it is better than Proactiv, but from my tests there is no difference.

I have personally tried out Acne Free. My first month with this product was decent - it minimized my acne. However, after 2 months, this product harmed my skin more than it helped.

Overall Impression of Acne Free

Although the product is cheap, the results Acne Free isn't a miracle. I believe Acne Free depends too much on benzoyl peroxide. Benzoyl peroxide often stops working for acne sufferers after a few months, and once that happens, Acne Free stops working for the skin. Benzoyl peroxide also is a skin irritant and makes the skin appear bleached when used extensively.
